Managing Wallet

Learn how to manage your KloudBean account wallet, view balance, load funds, and track transactions. The wallet provides a convenient way to manage your account balance and pay for KloudBean services.

Overview

The KloudBean wallet allows you to manage your account balance, add funds, view transaction history, and use your balance to pay for services and subscriptions. This centralized wallet system makes it easy to manage your account finances.

Accessing Wallet

In order to view or manage your wallet:

  1. Click on Account from the right side of the top header on the dashboard
  2. From the dropdown menu, navigate to the Wallet section
  3. You'll be taken to the wallet management page

Wallet Section Overview

In the wallet section, you have the following options:

  • View Wallet Balance: See your current wallet balance and balance details
  • Load Funds: Add funds to your wallet for future use
  • Load Coupon: Apply discount or promotion codes
  • Update Currency: Change your wallet currency settings
  • View Historical Transactions and Payments: Access complete transaction history

Understanding Wallet Balance

Your wallet balance represents the amount available in your wallet. Important: Your wallet balance can be negative, which means you may have outstanding charges or pending payments.

Viewing Balance Details

To check wallet balance details in a graph visual:

  1. Click on the Wallet Balance card
  2. This will show you detailed wallet information including:
    • Current balance
    • Balance history graph
    • Recent transactions summary
    • Balance trends over time

Wallet Funds

The wallet detail view provides:

  • Visual Graph: See your balance changes over time
  • Balance Breakdown: Understand where your balance comes from
  • Quick Stats: View summary statistics
  • Trend Analysis: See balance trends and patterns

Loading Funds to Wallet

Steps to Load Funds

If you intend to load funds into your wallet:

  1. Click Load Funds Button:

    • Click on the "Load Funds" button in the wallet section
    • This will open the fund loading interface
  2. Add Funds Summary:

    • Review the funds summary information
    • Understand the amount you're adding and any applicable fees
  3. Enter Amount:

    • Enter the amount you want to add to your wallet
    • Minimum and maximum amounts may apply
    • The amount will be displayed in your selected currency
  4. Proceed to Payment:

    • Click "Proceed to Payment" button
    • This will take you to the Stripe payment session

After clicking "Proceed to Payment":

  1. Stripe Checkout: You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe payment session
  2. Enter Payment Details:
    • Add your card information
    • Complete the payment form
  3. Complete Checkout:
    • Review the payment amount
    • Confirm and complete the checkout session
  4. Instant Funds:
    • Once the checkout session is complete, you will instantly see funds in your wallet
    • Funds are immediately available to spend on any KloudBean service
    • No waiting period - use funds right away

Using Loaded Funds

After funds are added to your wallet:

  • Immediate Availability: Funds are available immediately after payment
  • Use for Services: Spend on any KloudBean service (servers, applications, databases, etc.)
  • Automatic Payments: Wallet balance is automatically used for subscription renewals
  • No Expiration: Funds don't expire and remain in your wallet until used

Loading Coupons

Applying Coupon Codes

  1. Click Load Coupon:

    • In the wallet section, click on "Load Coupon" option
    • This opens the coupon code interface
  2. Enter Coupon Code:

    • Enter your discount or promotion code
    • Codes are case-sensitive
  3. Apply Coupon:

    • Click "Apply" or "Redeem" to apply the coupon
    • The discount will be applied to your next purchase or added to your wallet
  4. Verify Discount:

    • Confirm that the coupon has been applied
    • Check the discount amount and validity

Updating Currency

Changing Wallet Currency

  1. Access Currency Settings:

    • In the wallet section, click on "Update Currency"
    • Or navigate to currency settings
  2. Select New Currency:

    • Choose your preferred currency from the dropdown
    • Available currencies depend on your region
  3. Review Impact:

    • Understand how currency change affects your balance
    • Note any conversion rates or fees
  4. Save Changes:

    • Confirm the currency change
    • Your wallet will display in the new currency

Important Notes:

  • Currency change may require account verification
  • Existing balance may be converted at current rates
  • Some currencies may have restrictions
  • Contact support if you need assistance with currency changes

Viewing Transactions

Accessing Transaction History

To view transactions:

  1. Scroll Down:

    • Scroll down in the wallet section to view the transactions section
    • This displays all your historical transactions
  2. Transaction List:

    • See all transactions in chronological order
    • Each transaction shows:
      • Transaction ID
      • Date and time
      • Amount
      • Type (deposit, payment, refund, etc.)
      • Status (completed, pending, failed)

Viewing Transaction Details:

  1. Click on Transaction:

    • Click on any transaction in the list to view its details
    • This opens the transaction detail view
  2. Transaction Information:

    • Transaction ID: Unique identifier for the transaction
    • Date and Time: When the transaction occurred
    • Amount: Transaction amount in your currency
    • Type: Transaction type (deposit, payment, withdrawal, refund)
    • Status: Current status (completed, pending, failed)
    • Description: Details about what the transaction was for
    • Payment Method: How the transaction was processed
  3. Additional Actions:

    • Download receipt or invoice
    • View related transactions
    • Contact support if needed

Searching Transactions

Search Functionality:

  • Search Box:

    • Use the search box to find specific transactions
    • Search by:
      • Transaction ID
      • Amount
      • Date range
      • Transaction type
      • Description keywords
  • Filter Options:

    • Filter by transaction type
    • Filter by date range
    • Filter by status
    • Filter by amount range
  • Quick Search:

    • Type in the search box to instantly filter results
    • Results update in real-time as you type

Understanding Wallet Balance

Positive Balance

  • Available Funds: Money you can spend on KloudBean services
  • Automatic Payments: Used automatically for subscription renewals
  • Manual Payments: Can be selected during checkout
  • No Expiration: Funds remain in wallet until used

Negative Balance

  • Outstanding Charges: Indicates you owe money to KloudBean
  • Payment Required: You'll need to add funds to bring balance to positive
  • Service Impact: Some services may be suspended with negative balance
  • Payment Options: Add funds or update payment method to resolve

  • ✅ Monitor Balance Regularly: Check your wallet balance frequently
  • ✅ Maintain Positive Balance: Keep sufficient funds for automatic renewals
  • ✅ Review Transactions: Regularly review transaction history for accuracy

Troubleshooting

Funds Not Appearing

  • Check Payment Status: Verify payment was successful in Stripe
  • Refresh Page: Try refreshing the wallet page
  • Check Email: Look for payment confirmation email
  • Contact Support: Reach out to support if funds don't appear after 5 minutes

Transaction Not Showing

  • Check Date Range: Ensure you're viewing the correct date range
  • Use Search: Try searching for the transaction
  • Refresh Data: Click refresh to reload transactions
  • Check Filters: Verify no filters are hiding the transaction

Payment Issues

  • Card Declined: Check card details and available funds
  • Payment Failed: Verify payment method is valid
  • Contact Support: Reach out to 24/7 support for payment assistance
