Managing Subscriptions
Learn how subscriptions work on KloudBean and understand the automatic subscription management system.
Overview
On KloudBean, subscriptions are created automatically when you launch services. You don't need to manually create or manage subscriptions—the system handles everything for you. This guide explains how subscriptions work and what you need to know about managing them.
How Subscriptions Are Created
Automatic Subscription Creation
By default, a subscription is created automatically when you create any of the following services:
- Server: When you launch a new server
- Database: When you launch a database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Flexible Load Balancer: When you launch a flexible load balancer
Subscription Creation Process
When you launch any of these services:
- Service Launch: You initiate the launch of a server, database, or load balancer
- Automatic Subscription: KloudBean automatically creates a subscription for that service
- Billing Setup: The subscription is set up with the appropriate billing cycle
- Service Activation: Your service becomes active and ready to use
Free Trial and Subscriptions
Important: Free trial is available only with server creation.
When you launch a server with a free trial:
- Subscription Created: A subscription is created immediately, even during the trial period
- Trial Period: You can use the service during the trial period without charges
- After Trial: Once the trial period ends, billing begins automatically
- Amount Deduction: The subscription amount will be deducted after the trial period ends
- No Manual Action: You don't need to do anything—the subscription continues automatically
For databases and flexible load balancers, there is no free trial option, and billing begins immediately upon creation.

- No Manual Setup: You don't need to manually create subscriptions
- Automatic Billing: Billing is handled automatically based on your service usage

Subscription Attachment
Each subscription is directly attached to its corresponding service:

This means:
- One service = One subscription
- Each service has its own independent subscription
- Subscriptions cannot be transferred between services

Cannot Delete Manually
Important: You cannot manually delete a subscription.
Subscriptions are automatically managed by KloudBean and are tied directly to their associated services. There is no option to manually delete or cancel a subscription through the dashboard.

- Delete Service: When you delete a server, database, or load balancer
- Automatic Cancellation: KloudBean automatically cancels the subscription immediately
- No Manual Action: You don't need to do anything—cancellation happens automatically
- Instant Effect: The subscription cancellation takes effect immediately
- No Worries: You don't have to worry about managing subscription cancellation
