Managing SSL certificates is essential for securing your application’s data transmission and ensuring user trust. Whether you're using free Let’s Encrypt certificates or custom SSL certificates, Kloudbean offers a seamless solution for easy installation and management. This ensures that your application’s connections are encrypted, providing a secure environment for both you and your users.
Step 1: Accessing SSL Certificates section
In order to install certificates you need yo go to SSL Certificates section from the left menu. which will open certificates section where you can manage certificates easily.
SSL certificate dropdown has two types of certificates options
- Lets Encrypt Certificates (free)
- Custom SSL Certificates.
Installing Let's Encrypt SSL Certificates (free)
If you want to install free certificates, then go with Let's encrypt option. Click on that followed by adding the following required information.
- Email address (you can use any email address)
- Click on Add Domain button to add domain on which you want to install certificates. you can add multiple domains.
Once done click on INSTALL CERTIFICATES. It will take couple of minutes to install certificates, after which your domain should have valid let's Encrypt certificates.
Installing custom SSL Certificates
If you already have your custom certificates for your domain, you have an option to them as well. Click on customer SSL certificates option, followed by filling there required crt data.
- Insert Certificate content in CRT Content field.
- Insert Certificate private key in KEY Content field.
Hit submit to install these certificates.
This should install your custom certificates on your domain.
