How to Rename Your Web Application Name and Server Name

Kloudbean offers a platform to launch and manage applications and servers for hosting your websites. To keep everything organized, you might need to rename these applications and servers. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you rename them within the Kloudbean Platform.

How to Rename Your Application

Log in to your Koudbean Console using your credentials.

  1. From the top menu bar, Click on Servers
  2. Then, choose the server as shown in image below.

Click the Globe icon to select the application you want to rename.

1. Access the Application Administration Section:

  • Navigate to the application you wish to rename.
  • Edit the Application Name
  • Click the pencil icon next to the current application name.

2. Change and Save the Name:

  • Enter the new name for your application in the provided field.
  • Click "Right Icon" to update the application name.

How to Rename Your Server

1. Access the Server which user wants to rename:

  • Navigate to the server you wish to rename.
  • Access Server Administration

2. Edit the Server Name:

  • Click the pencil icon next to the current server name.

3. Change and Save the Name:

  • Enter the new name for your server in the provided field.
  • Click "Right icon" to update the server name.

By following these steps, you can easily rename your applications and servers on the Kloudbean Platform, ensuring that they are identifiable and organised according to your preferences.
