How to Stop Access to an Application
Log in to your Koudbean Console using your credentials.
- From the top menu bar, Click on Servers
- Next, pick the server where your application is running.
3. Click on Globe icon for Application.
4. Select the application for which you want to disable access.
5. Under Application Administration, select Settings.
After accessing the settings, navigate to the "Advance" tab. Then, locate the "Application Access" section.
Once you toggle the switch off, a pop-up confirmation will appear. Click "Yes" to confirm, and the application access will be disabled.
From that moment onward, both the website accessed via the dummy app URL and the mapped domain will be inaccessible.
When you stop an application, several actions take place:
- Website access via browsers is disabled, making the site inaccessible.
- SFTP/SSH access to the application using application credentials is suspended. However, the master user retains access to the application’s directory.
- Execution of Cron jobs set on the application is halted.
- Other services like server backups of stopped applications and database services remain operational.
To re-enable web application access, you can use the same option.
